The Grullo Horse

The assassin approached, a heartless fool.
He didn't notice the watchful gaze,
Of that cunning horse, in a daze.
With bites and kicks, so strong and bold,
He left him dead on the path, so cold.

Like a flash of lightning, the horse did flee,
Galloping fast, wild and free.
Wanting to save his master, dear,
He carried him in his teeth, no fear.
To the courage of his horse, so true,
Santana owes his life, anew.
