The ancient rite of the harvest,

The voices of the women singing in chorus,
Bent backs from the hard work.

From the houses in the village,
A musician emerges,
With an accordion in hand,
He seems to be cheerful.
He plays a melody from an ancient dance,
The gaiety increases as it proceeds.
