Often times,
I wonder what is meant to be?
Everybody talks about a destiny
But what's it really mean?
Cause it makes me think
About a lot of people that have lost their life
There's still a lot of homeless in the streets at night
It seems a lot of glasses seem to be rose pink
There's a lot of victims with no hope in sight
From homies to brothers
To mothers, to fathers
And sisters and cousins
The aunties, The uncles
The grandmas, The grandpas
The kids I swear this shit's fucked up
Like who asked for struggles?
Or when was the last time I told you I loved you?
How much so why when we go out in public
It could be the last time we get to do something

Viele sehen die Welt durch eine rosa Brille
Viele Opfer ohne Hoffnungsschimmer
Von Freunden zu Brüdern
Zu Müttern, zu Vätern
Und Schwestern und Cousinen
Die Tanten, die Onkel
Die Omas, die Opas
Die Kinder – bei Gott, es ist krass
Wer hat nach Kämpfen gefragt?
Wann sagte ich dir zuletzt ich liebe dich?
Wie viel? Drum: Wenn wir in die Öffentlichkeit gehen
Könnte es das letzte Mal sein, dass wir etwas tun
Unschuldig, nicht mal was getan
Das ist schwer zu verkraften
