Cobalt

Blue light was shining,
My eyes are wide awake at 2:30 AM.
Like a blue bruise I didn't notice forming,
The outline of the pain vaguely appears.

While losing, I was also gaining,
A new page, it's a little embarrassing.
What remains as an afterimage, even after swiping,
Are the smiles of my friends beside me.

Yeah, I want someone to understand,
The wish hidden in colorless transparency.
In the depths of my heart, the breath I was holding,
I exhale all at once, and my senses return.

In these dry days, it suddenly comes to mind,
The seasons we spent together so naturally.
Even if reality becomes tainted,
Only the sky we saw together is real.
