Das ich mir überleg -
Ob es nicht ne bessere Strophe gibt - für das Lied?
Und en' besseren Chrous - für das Lied?
Oder ob es das schon ist was die Orgel spielt?
Ob es bessere Worte gibt - für das Lied?
Gibt es ne' Berechtigung - für das Lied?
Doch wisst ihr was erschreckend ist?
Der Maeckes ist eigentlich Perfektionist
Und trotzdem isser' so.

Imperialistic doubt

I pour alcohol into my wounds

For a few seconds everything is unimportant
And in an instant I'm me

And it's not my fault

The bottom line is, let's summarize it:
Do you know what's funny?
That I think
If there isn't a better verse for the song?
And a better chorus for the song?
Or if that's what the organ plays?
If there are better words for the song?
Is there a justification for the song?
But do you know what's frightening?
Maeckes is actually a perfectionist
And yet he's like that.
