Someone once said
Hope will not abandon you

Like a spider caught in its web
The more I struggle
The more tangled the threads become
Until I can barely move, and eventually, even breathe
It becomes impossible

There must have been something I could have done
Is it too late to go back?

I'm stuck in my ways
Lost and alone in my thoughts
Somewhere, I still believed in hope
But now it's fading away

Even the kindest words of encouragement
Can be painful at times
And I shut my heart away
I have to return a smile, so I try again
But I grow weary with the effort

There are no words for this
But I want to scream

If there is some meaning to this sorrow

And so, my journey continues
