光を砕く憂鬱を
ポケットに詰めてさ

君は決めたんだね

踊る雑念と業のステップで
ビニール傘 雨に唄えば
ここはうるさすぎる
ダンサー・イン・ザ・ポエトリー
ひきつって笑わないでよ
辛すぎるってわかってんのに
その姿で踊るのさ

くやしいな
あの詩なら僕も書けたのに
僕にもあったはずなのに
僕も持ってたものなのに

くやしいな
みんな持ってる感受性を
ゴッホでいうひまわりとか
ピカソでいうゲルニカ

人は歌うのさ その消失へ
小学校の校庭
誰かも知らない筆圧で
「すなおにすこやかに」

知ってるような玄人だって
寂しすぎるって踊るのさ

雄弁な静けさを捨てて
そうしてまで君は

My dear friend,
You didn't smile that much
Nor did you beam at anyone
No one knew you

My dear friend,
You didn't talk that much
The melancholy that shattered the light
You kept it in your pocket

You decided on the scale that fit into a poem
You decided, didn't you?
You decided on the scale that fit into a poem
That's what you decided, you made up your mind

Dancing with rambling thoughts and a karmic step
Plastic umbrella, singing in the rain
It's too noisy here

Don't force a smile
Even though you know it's too painful
You dance in that form

It's frustrating
I could have written that poem
I must have had it in me too
I had it too

It's frustrating
Everyone has that kind of sensitivity
Like Van Gogh's sunflowers
Picasso's Guernica

People sing about their own demise
Elementary school playground
Someone's unknown handwriting
Says "Be honest and healthy"

Even experts who act like they know
Dance because it's too lonely
