Landscape Full of Hope

The young forest turns green in the warm spring
Here and there, the roofs of houses continue to grow
This landscape hears no evil omens
It dreams its unchangeable dream of dreams
When the light of dawn awakens
Hope weaves its thoughts and deeds together
Time flows with it - for the simple reason
That happiness is the goal, and reason the Good God
Who has conceived so much, and could do so much
And on whom one can always count
I believe in the promenade of human hearts
Running into the future, distance and space
The magic of great knowledge acquired
May it give them much happiness
I believe in the great human strength of life
Enduring forever - because so good
Is this landscape, which has served
For so many years under the heaven of stars
