Tres morrongos elegantes
De bastón, galera y guantes,

Mas como el concurso era
Para gato... y chacarera,
Los echaron del salón
Sin ninguna explicación.

Le maullaron la verdad
A toda la vecindad:
¡Tucumán es feo y triste
Porque el gato allá no existe!

Los ratones escucharon

Three elegant tomcats
With cane, top hat and gloves,
