Dios todo Poderoso, quédate conmigo cuando te necesito conmigo.

Dame la espada de la verdad con la que he de confrontar

Hoy quiero confesar muchas cosas que me he preguntado,
reconociendo que soy un hombre creado de la nada,
que somos hijos del calvario y lo que tenemos en las manos
son las cosas que nos muestran que en verdad no tenemos nada.
Frágiles, creemos ser fuertes pero somos débiles,
cómplices de las desgracias por querer ser hábiles.
En los momentos difíciles nos llaman inútiles
donde el que proclama paz patrocina los proyectiles.
Entonces ¿Para qué nací? ¿Para estar triste o feliz?
si la vida es un regalo y un privilegio ¿Porqué sufrir?
¿Cuál es el propósito de estar vivo o ser querido
si la vida te la quita aquel ser que tú más has querido?
¿Qué significa el amor que a veces no lo conozco?
O el gesto que he visto en otros ¿Acaso será parecido?
Maltratar a quien por ti su vida dio a regalarle una
rosa a quien un día te amó o ¿Acaso estoy confundido?
¿Cuál es la diferencia entre la paz y la guerra si
cuando quiero paz no hay, si hay paz ignoro la guerra.
Mi cabeza tiene tantas preguntas que nadie responde
¿Quién conoce la respuesta? Díganme ¿Porqué la esconde?
¿Porqué no puedo ser libre? ¿Qué es estar libre? ¿To
mar mis propias decisiones o las que otros deciden?
Ésta es mi confesión de corazón con mi canción, si
no soy libre de la mente mi cuerpo será una prisión.
¿Porqué están a mi lado? Porque soy cantante.
Si no supieran lo que soy para ustedes, ¿Yo fuera importante?
Entonces dicen que presumo para sentirme importante.
¿Porqué hablan tanto de mí si dicen que yo no soy importante?
¿Porqué no puedo amar a quien yo quiero amar?
Si no lo hago me duele, y si lo hago pienso en los demás en
¿Qué dirán? ¿Qué pensarán? Me mirarán, no me hablarán.
Ahora me pregunto si en las malas y las buenas, ellas estarán.
Volví a tomar alcohol porque en él me sentí como nadie,
me sentí alguien y olvidé los problemas sin embriagarme.
Buscando quien me ame, sin pensar en quien me amó.
Busqué el hombro perdido y me sorprendieron con olvidarme.
¿Porqué perecer? ¿Porqué no ser quien quiero ser?
¿Porqué es tan difícil avanzar? Madurar y crecer.
Ser diferente a los demás, ir por más y mucho más.
No ser uno más, ser mucho más de lo que quiero ser.
¿Porqué tantas vueltas en mi cabeza? Tantas condiciones, t
antas indecisiones, desilusiones y traiciones.
Maldito mil veces quien confía en otro hombre.
Nosotros mismos crucificamos al hijo del hombre.
No le estimamos, él llevó nuestras enfermedades,
sufrió nuestros dolores y le tuvimos por azotado,
por herido de Dios y abatido, él herido fue por nuestras rebeliones,
molido por nuestros pecados.
Los mismos que te admiran de ti dicen mentiras,
ya verás como se te miran, te tiran, te tienen en la mira. Jah
Luego a tu espalda te critican y te acaban y
cuando los tienes cara a cara te sonrien y te alaban.
Si no te dan otra oportunidad después de otro tropiezo como nace la
voluntad del tener un nuevo comienzo.
Trabajamos tanto en la vida que cada día vamos
muriendo y me pregunto si ¿Estamos viviendo o sobreviviendo?
A veces me he preguntado ¿A qué sabe la muerte?
He dudado de Dios después de tantos accidentes.
¿Para qué existe el dolor? ¿Para llorar por otra gente?
¿Y si habrá vida en otro planeta para mudarme de éste?
Yo también he pecado, he fallado, he traicionado, he maltratado,
he dado; yo también he condenado, he escupido, he herido;
yo también he rechazado, he golpeado;
yo no soy perfecto, todo lo he pasado;
pero he caído y me he levantado y aún así me han juzgado. He
bendecido, he ayudado, y aún así me han apedreado. E
ntre hombres despreciados quebranto he experimentado;
pero que lance la primera piedra el que esté libre de pecado.
Dime ¿Porqué juzgarme si no conoces mis favores?
¿A quién le interesa escucharme a pesar de mis errores.
¿Porqué tantos defectos? ¿Porqué tantos complejos?
¿Porqué miramos a los demás y no miramos al espejo?
Somos hijos de Dios y todos somos hermanos,
estamos del mismo lado, dejemos de lastimarnos.
Ningunos somos perfectos, nadie nace con alas.
Dejemos de dispararnos en ésta guerra sin balas.
Que nada será para siempre, todo perecerá, s
olo tú mismo sabrás quién tú has sido y quien serás. Sé humilde, nunca
te creas más que los demás; q
ue del polvo fuiste creado y al polvo volverás.
Me cansé de hablar mentira en las canciones.
Ésta es mi confesión, puede ser que no me des la razón.
Pero hablarlo es mejor que callarlo;
porque hablando siento que estoy sanando.
Estoy dejando que de mí salgan las
dudas que acciones de otros ocasionaron.
Y las que mis acciones provocaron me
hicieron madurar y no quedarme callado.
Porque nadie probará el sabor de tus fracasos;
pero todos querrán probar el sabor de tus éxitos.
Perdóname Señor porque no soy perfecto.

Ésta es mi confesión, puede ser que no me des la razón. Pe
ro hablarlo es mejor que callarlo;
porque hablando siento que estoy sanando.
Estoy dejando que de mí salgan las
dudas que acciones de otros ocasionaron.
Y las que mis acciones provocaron me
hicieron madurar y no quedarme callado.

Confession

Almighty God, stay with me when I need you by my side.
Don't let me forget the sacred vows I made before you,
nor fall prey to demons and
devils, nor to the dark things of this world.
Honor me with the arm of your justice.
Give me the sword of truth with which I must confront
my enemies and be in your eyes a true knight.
Today I want to confess many things I have wondered about,
recognizing that I am a man created from nothing,
that we are children of Calvary and what we hold in our hands
are the things that show us that we truly have nothing.
Fragile, we believe we are strong but we are weak,
accomplices of misfortunes by wanting to be skillful.
In difficult moments they call us useless
where the one who proclaims peace sponsors the projectiles.
So why was I born? To be sad or happy?
If life is a gift and a privilege, why suffer?
What is the purpose of being alive or being loved
if life is taken away by the one you loved most?
What does love mean that sometimes I don't recognize it?
Or the gesture I've seen in others, could it be similar?
Mistreating the one who gave their life for you, giving a
rose to the one who once loved you, or am I confused?
What is the difference between peace and war if
when I want peace there is none, if there is peace I ignore war.
My head has so many questions that no one answers
Who knows the answer? Tell me why they hide it?
Why can't I be free? What is being free? To
make my own decisions or the ones that others decide?
This is my heartfelt confession with my song, if
I am not free of mind, my body will be a prison.
Why are they by my side? Because I am a singer.
If you didn't know what I am to you, would I be important?
So they say I show off to feel important.
Why do they talk so much about me if they say I'm not important?
Why can't I love who I want to love?
If I don't, it hurts, and if I do, I think of others in
what will they say? What will they think? They will look at me, they will not talk to me.
Now I wonder if in good times and bad, they will be there.
I went back to drinking because in it I felt like nobody,
I felt like somebody and forgot the problems without getting drunk.
Looking for someone to love me, without thinking of who loved me.
I looked for the lost shoulder and was surprised to be forgotten.
Why perish? Why not be who I want to be?
Why is it so hard to move forward? To mature and grow.
To be different from others, to go for more and much more.
Not to be one more, to be much more than what I want to be.
Why so many turns in my head? So many conditions, so many
indecisions, disappointments and betrayals.
Cursed a thousand times is he who trusts another man.
We ourselves crucified the son of man.
We did not esteem him, he bore our infirmities,
he suffered our pains and we considered him stricken,
smitten by God and afflicted, he was wounded for our transgressions,
bruised for our iniquities.
The same ones who admire you tell lies about you,
you'll see how they look at you, they throw you, they have you in their sights. Jah
Then they criticize you behind your back and they finish you off and
when you have them face to face they smile at you and praise you.
If they don't give you another chance after another stumble, how is the
will to have a new beginning born.
We work so hard in life that every day we go
dying and I wonder if we are living or surviving?
Sometimes I have wondered what death tastes like?
I have doubted God after so many accidents.
Why does pain exist? To cry for other people?
What if there is life on another planet to move away from this one?
I too have sinned, I have failed, I have betrayed, I have mistreated,
I have given; I too have condemned, I have spat, I have wounded;
I too have rejected, I have beaten;
I am not perfect, I have gone through it all;
but I have fallen and I have risen and still I have been judged. I have
blessed, I have helped, and still I have been stoned. Among
despised men I have experienced heartbreak;
but let him who is without sin cast the first stone.
Tell me why judge me if you don't know my favors?
Who cares to listen to me despite my mistakes.
Why so many flaws? Why so many complexes?
Why do we look at others and not look in the mirror?
We are children of God and we are all brothers,
we are on the same side, let's stop hurting each other.
None of us are perfect, no one is born with wings.
Let's stop shooting each other in this war without bullets.
That nothing will last forever, everything will perish, only
you will know who you have been and who you will be. Be humble, never
believe yourself more than others; for
from dust you were created and to dust you shall return.
I'm tired of telling lies in songs.
This is my confession, you may not agree with me.
But talking about it is better than keeping it quiet;
because by talking I feel like I'm healing.
I'm letting the
doubts that others' actions caused come out of me.
And the ones my actions caused made me
mature and not keep quiet.
Because no one will taste the flavor of your failures;
but everyone will want to taste the flavor of your successes.
Forgive me Lord because I am not perfect.

This is my confession, you may not agree with me. But
