Martes 21, otro día como cualquiera
Javiera caminaba sin pensar sobre sus pasos
Los estudios, la familia, la obligaba a trabajar
Hasta tarde y preocuparse solo de ganarse el pan

Apasionada de la historia y decidida de ganar
Amor por los paisajes, por el canto y el bailar
Buscaba nuevos aires en aquella gran ciudad
Donde decía que podría los objetivos lograr

Solo miraba la acera, caminaba
Organizaba sus tiempos para el día de mañana
Sin percatarse que bajo sus huellas
Tres tipos la seguían desde hace cuatro cuadras

A la vuelta en la esquina de su casa la tomaron por la espalda
Mientras hacia una llamada
Intentaba gritar pero en su boca había una palma
Mientras quien la callaba, otro sus piernas amarraba

La subieron a un vehículo, ella asustada
Fue tanto el shock mental sufrido que perdió el sentido
Desmayada al despertarse se encontró atada a un cama
Sin ropa y golpeada, mientras ellos la miraban

Pero todo no acababa, primero fue violada,
Torturada, mientras su mente recreaba su vida pasada
¿Por qué estoy aquí?, ¿Por qué mierda estoy aquí?
Ya no sentía el aire y solo eso gritaba

Pasaron los meses, ni rastro de Javiera
Policías sin descanso y sin resultado alguno
No hubo ni una pista, ni una prenda de Javiera
Más que su celular y su última llamada

Desde investigaciones hasta marchas
Había quienes no perdían la fe por su regreso
Mientras por la calle comentaban lo de siempre
Que hacia caminando sola y hasta aquella hora

¡POR LA MIERDA! la familia fue alertada
De un supuesto cuerpo encontrado en la basura
Tras meses de investigación al fin algo concreto
Más no era la noticia que ellos se esperaban

El cuerpo presentaba múltiples fracturas,
Deterioro por el daño, puñaladas en el torso,
Un rostro desfigurado hacía imposible saber
Quien era a simple vista de familiares de Javiera

Peritajes arrojaron que era ella
Un cuerpo frio, desnudo, como cual deshecho
Era ella, era Javiera la que amaba bailar
La que trabajaba horas extras para estudiar

Esta historia es ficticia más lo ocurrido no
Esto pasa cada día y no hacemos nada al respecto
Como siempre es más fácil culpar a la victima
Y olvidar el día de mañana que esto si paso

Cuantos femicidios más tendremos que ver
Para tomar conciencia de que ellas están
Luchando por su vida cada maldito día,
E visto las atrocidades,
La cantidad de sangre derramada y
El dolor irreparable a sus familiares,
No busco encender la llama del morbo con esto,

Esta es mi forma de dar conciencia entre la gente
Y hacer que vean la realidad como es y sin censuras,
Yo si les creo, mucha fuerza y respetos hermanas,
Ojala logren encontrar la paz en este infierno llamado mundo

Tuesday the 21st, another day like any other
Javiera walked without thinking about her steps
Studies, family, forced her to work
Late hours and worrying only about earning a living

Passionate about history and determined to succeed
Love for landscapes, singing, and dancing
Seeking new horizons in that big city
Where she believed she could achieve her goals

Just looking at the sidewalk, walking
Organizing her time for tomorrow
Without realizing that under her footsteps
Three guys had been following her for four blocks

Around the corner from her house, they grabbed her from behind
While she was making a call
She tried to scream, but a palm covered her mouth
While one silenced her, another tied her legs

They put her in a vehicle, she was scared
The mental shock was so great that she fainted
Unconscious, she woke up tied to a bed
Naked and beaten, while they watched her

But it didn't end there, first she was raped,
Tortured, while her mind replayed her past life
Why am I here? Why the fuck am I here?
She couldn't feel the air anymore and that's all she screamed

Months passed, no trace of Javiera
Police tirelessly searched with no results
There wasn't a single clue, not a single piece of Javiera
Except her cell phone and her last call

From investigations to marches
There were those who didn't lose faith in her return
While on the street, they said the same things as always
That she was walking alone and at that hour

DAMN IT! The family was alerted
Of a supposed body found in the trash
After months of investigation, finally something concrete
But it wasn't the news they were hoping for

The body had multiple fractures,
Deterioration from damage, stab wounds to the torso,
A disfigured face made it impossible to know
Who it was at first glance for Javiera's family

Expert reports confirmed it was her
A cold, naked body, like some kind of waste
It was her, it was Javiera, the one who loved to dance
The one who worked overtime to study

This story is fictional, but what happened is not
This happens every day and we do nothing about it
As always, it's easier to blame the victim
And forget the next day that this actually happened

How many more femicides will we have to see
To become aware that they are
Fighting for their lives every damn day,
I've seen the atrocities,
The amount of blood spilled and
The irreparable pain to their families,
I don't seek to ignite the flame of morbidity with this,

This is my way of raising awareness among people
And make them see reality as it is, without censorship,
I believe you, much strength and respect, sisters,
I hope you find peace in this hell called the world
