Every day in my neighborhood I see different scenes
Places set in stone that are filled with old folks
Weird characters, like something out of a TV show
They resemble Ruperto and Ernesto Che Copete
They lose consciousness over a drink
Decency doesn't matter, appearance doesn't matter
They wander around searching for an existence
Some form of substance
That will lead them to their next drink
To ease their pain
Nobody stops them here
Because there's no thought in their heads
Except to guzzle down that bottle

Or those drunks who are just an ornament thrown on the sidewalk

I don't know what to call it
If they're just people who have fallen into that exact same bitter drink
