Eu vi a manipulação genética
Definir antes de nascer, o nosso ser, e nossa estética
Humanidade cética, desafiando a ética
Como se não passássemos
De uma mera formula aritmética
Eu vi, religiões criando pânico, rituais satânicos

A criação de outros estados islâmicos
Homens mecânicos, com chips em seus abdomens
Até pareciam, mas não agiam como homens
Vi carros voadores guiados por GPSs
A extinção de milhares de outras espécies
Vi cidades sendo engolidas pelos mares
Com o desaparecimento das calotas polares
Vi guerras sendo travadas por todos lugares
Vi a criação de novas armas nucleares
Vi o fim da Amazônia, o Brasil virar colônia
O planeta terra era a própria Babilônia

Quanto tempo mais, até perceber
E se alguém pudesse me ouvir
Se eles pudessem ver o que eu vi
Será que assim eles iriam entender

O sonho da conquista do espaço perdeu a graça
Conquistamos outros planetas
Escravizamos outras raças
Eu vi câmeras até no céu
O verdadeiro Big Brother
Como descrito por George Orwell
As crianças já não aprendiam mais nomes como Hamlet
Eram ensinadas por smarthphones e tablets
Não existiam mais poesias ou livros
E a vida social, foi substituída por aplicativos
Seguimos a natureza fria da profecia maquiavélica
E a maior indústria do mundo
Continuava sendo a bélica
Ah quanta arrogância
Em nome do progresso assassinamos Deus
Com a faca afiada da ganancia
Então me diga, quem nos guia o amor ou o ego?
A placa que dizia siga? Ou a gente que estava cego
Perdemos a essência daquilo que nos faz humanos
O dinheiro e a tecnologia nos tornou insanos
Quando foi que a gente perdeu as rédeas do mundo
Como a gente pôde, deixar esse buraco ficar tão fundo
Como? podem chamar isso de evolução
Se os prédios crescem mas o amor não
Meu Deus eu imploro
Se isso for o futuro então nos jogue logo um meteoro
Pra acabar com esse sofrimento
Pois tenho o mau pressentimento
Que isso não foi um sonho
Mas uma viagem pelo tempo!

What Nostradamus predicted
The human being cold, in a robotic way
An empty look, a chaotic world
And we are like we have everything great
Getting closer to the end and further away from the next
In the era of cybernetics
Sadness was a disease
And joy was a synthetic drug
I saw the genetic manipulation
Defining before being born, our being and our aesthetics
Skeptical humanity, challenging ethics
As if we didn't pass
From a mere arithmetic formula
I saw, religions creating panic, satanic rituals

The creation of other Islamic states
Mechanical men, with chips in their abdomens
They even looked like, but did not act like men
I saw flying cars guided by GPS
The extinction of thousands of other species
I saw cities being swallowed by the seas
With the disappearance of the polar ice caps
I saw wars being fought everywhere
I saw the creation of new nuclear weapons
I saw the end of the Amazon, Brazil become a colony
The planet Earth was Babylon itself

How much longer, until I realize
And if someone could hear me
If they could see what I saw
Would they understand like this

The dream of conquering space lost its grace
We conquered other planets
We enslaved other races
I saw cameras even in the sky
The real Big Brother
As described by George Orwell
Children no longer learned names like Hamlet
They were taught by smartphones and tablets
There were no more poems or books
And social life, was replaced by apps
We follow the cold nature of Machiavellian prophecy
And the biggest industry in the world
It remained warlike
Oh how much arrogance
In the name of progress we assassinated God
With the sharp knife of greed
So tell me, who guides us, love or ego?
The sign that said follow? Or the one that was blind
We lost the essence of what makes us human
Money and technology made us insane
When did we lose the reins of the world
How could we let this hole get so deep
How? can they call this evolution
If buildings grow but love does not
My God I beg you
If this is the future then throw a meteor at us soon
To end this suffering
Because I have a bad feeling
That this was not a dream
But a journey through time!

How much longer, until I realize
And if someone could hear me
If they could see what I saw
Would they understand like this
