昔から何かをしようとすると

枝分かれして過去へ流れていく

どれほど長くて 何処に辿り着くんだろう

人は皆 幻想を語り
叶わぬ夢と置き去りにするけれど
僕は抱きしめていこう
馬鹿げた衝動が未来を照らすと 信じながら

小さな頃クレヨンで描いていた
果てしなく空想のような世界も
今の僕を形成り 上げている大事な一欠片だって
そう自信を持って言えるよ

「可能性」っていうものは
ずっと無限だとは思わない
駆け出すそのスピードに広がるイメージを

スカーレットの電車は僕を運ぶ
ためらわずまだ知らない場所へと

次第に遠ざかって 見えなくなった

Everytime I try to do something
I get cold water thrown on me
Myself alone in the bland scenery

The station I awaited my departure in the rain

People laughing, people hustling
A couple cuddling, children frolicking innocently
Each carrying some luggage
Heading toward their destination once again today

The scarlet train arrived on the platform
Carrying various lives with it
The hopes and expectations stashed in bags
Along with some anxiety covered up
I vowed that I wouldn't be back for a while

The countless drops running down the window
Branch off and flow into the past
The path I'm about to take
How long will it be and where will it lead

Everyone shares their dreams
And abandons their unfulfilled dreams
But I'm going to hold it
Believing that a foolish impulse will light up the future

The world I drew as a child with crayons
An unbelievably dreamy world
It's a precious, integral part of me now
I can say that with confidence

The so-called "possibility"
I don't think it's always infinite
Spread the image at the speed you start running
And then speed up again

The scarlet train carries me
Without hesitation, to unfamiliar places
I whispered "goodbye" to the hometown where the rain had stopped
It gradually got further away and disappeared

The sun will be shining in Tokyo right about now
