So I had never seen "Breakfast At Tiffany's"
And to be fair, Howard had never seen "Wayne's World"
So we, we exchanged a lot of
Very essential information over our time together

And uh, so we were watchin' "Breakfast At Tiffany's"
And in the end when "Moon River" came on, I was like
"Oh, I, I, I know this song, it's beautiful"
I just didn't know it was from this movie

And uh, so he told me a story
A personal story involving Henry Mancini 'cause of course
Howard had his personal story involving like, literally everybody
And um, so I took him over to the piano and I

I looked up the chords on my phone
And I started playing the song and he started singing
And I had never heard Howard sing before, and he had
This just perfectly imperfect voice with so much character

And, and that like, really janky performance of "Moon River" is
Probably my favorite musical moment of my entire life
So I, I knew I had to include that song, uh
On, on the tribute record, so here's "Moon River"

Et j'ai commencé à jouer la chanson et il a commencé à chanter
Et je n'avais jamais entendu Howard chanter avant, et il avait
Cette voix parfaitement imparfaite avec tellement de caractère.

Et, et cette, cette interprétation un peu bancale de "Moon River" est
Probablement mon moment musical préféré de toute ma vie.
Alors je, je savais que je devais inclure cette chanson, euh
