- Scrivo qualche poesia che ormai compri solo tu
Scrivo qualche canzone che più nessuno canta -
- Ma cosa dici, dai? Non ti buttare giù! -

Sta zitta un po', Maria, non senti un vento strano?
È una carezza calda eppure è già Natale!
Forse ho bevuto troppo o è solo fantasia
Ma vedo un'astronave di fronte all'osteria

Corriamo, su, Maria, chiediamogli un passaggio
Qui non lasciamo niente, soltanto un po' di gente
Che non ci ha mai amato, che non ci ha mai capito
Che ci ha sempre truffato, che ci ha sempre tradito

E un tuffo fra le stelle, la terra è ormai lontana!
Si sente una regina, Maria la puttana!
Rimane solamente in quella assurda via
Una borsetta nera, un fuoco e una poesia

Rombano i motori, la gente guarda in su
Domani sui giornali ci sarà un ufo in più
E il curato in chiesa dirà che non è vero
Che una puttana possa essere assunta in cielo
