Surah Al Gashiya

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيم
هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌ
عَامِلَةٌ نَاصِبَةٌ
تَصْلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةً
تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ آنِيَةٍ
لَيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنْ ضَرِيعٍ
لَا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِنْ جُوعٍ
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَاعِمَةٌ
لِسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌ
فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ
لَا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَاغِيَةً
فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ
فِيهَا سُرُرٌ مَرْفُوعَةٌ
وَأَكْوَابٌ مَوْضُوعَةٌ
وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌ
وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ
أَفَلَا يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَى الْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ
وَإِلَى السَّمَاءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ
وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ
وَإِلَى الْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ
فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُذَكِّرٌ
لَسْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِمُصَيْطِرٍ
إِلَّا مَنْ تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ
فَيُعَذِّبُهُ اللَّهُ الْعَذَابَ الْأَكْبَرَ
إِنَّ إِلَيْنَا إِيَابَهُمْ
ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُمْ

Surah Al Gashiya

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Has there come to you the story of the Overwhelming
[That] faces, that Day, will be humbled,
[That] they were toiling and wearying themselves
Into a Scorching Fire they will be entering
They will be given drink from a boiling spring
For them there will be no food except from a poisonous thorny plant
It will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger
[There] will be faces, that Day, comfortable,
With their efforts they are pleased
In an elevated Garden
[Where] they will hear no unsuitable speech
Within it is a flowing spring
Within it are raised couches
And cups set at hand
And cushions lined up in rows
And spread-out carpets
Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created?
And at the heaven - how it is raised?
And at the mountains - how they are fixed in place?
And at the earth - how it is spread out?
So remind, for you are only a reminder
You are not over them a controller
Except for he who turns back and disbelieves
Then God will punish him with the greatest punishment
Indeed, to Us is their return
Then indeed, upon Us is their account
