يوم جمعه

أنا كل يوم جمعة بتمشى للجامع
و معايا جار دايماً يقابلني في الشارع
إنسان بسيط طيب و بيقول كلام طيب
بعد ما نصلي يصاحبني و أنا راجع
و في يوم مجاش صلى مجاش مقابلتهوش
و فضلت أدور في الملامح و الوشوش
و بعد ما صليت و أنا في الطريق للبيت
فجأة كده حسيت إني قلقت عليه
دخلت شارع بيته سألت جاره عليه
لقيته ميعرفوش لكنه كتر خيره ساعدني اوصل ليه
إِنّا كُلّ يَوْم جُمْعَة بتمشى لِلجامِع
و معايا جار دايما يُقابِلنِي ڤِي الشارِع
إِنْسان بَسِيط طَيَّبَ و بيقول كَلام طَيَّبَ
بِعَدّ ما نُصَلِّي يُصاحِبنِي و إِنّا راجِع
دخلت لقيته نايم مريض عايش لوحده
و عشان بيحبه ربه سخرني عشان اساعده
جاره وقف على الباب واضح انه اتكسف
قاله اتفضل دخل حزين في عنيه أسف
قدم له اعتذاره و اطمنا عليه
و انا ماشي وعدني جاره انه هيهتم بيه
شكرته اعتذر لي شكرني إني جيت
أتاري جاره كان ساكن في نفس البيت
عايشين في بيت واحد و الباب قصاد الباب
جمعتهم الأقدار لكنهم أغراب

Every Friday, I walk to the mosque
With a neighbor who always meets me on the street
A simple, kind man who says kind things
After we pray, he walks with me as I return
One day, he was not there. I did not see him
I kept looking at the faces and features
After I prayed, as I made my way home
Suddenly, I felt worried about him
I went to his street and asked his neighbor about him
He did not know him, but he kindly helped me reach him
Every Friday I walk to the mosque
And a neighbor always meets me on the street
A simple, kind man who says kind things
After we pray, he walks with me as I return
I went in and found him sick and alone
Because God loves him, He sent me to help him
His neighbor stood at the door, clearly embarrassed
He said, "Come in, please." He was sad and sorry
He apologized to him and we checked on him
As I left, his neighbor promised to take care of him
He thanked me and apologized to me for coming
I found out his neighbor lived in the same building
They lived in the same building, door to door
Destiny brought them together, but they were strangers
