Al-Qalam

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم،
نون و القلم وما يَسطرون
ما انت بنعمة ربك بمجنون
وإن لك لأجراً غير ممنون
و إنك لعلي خُلقٍ عظيم، فستبصر و يبصرون، بأييكُمِ المفتون
إن ربك هو اعلم بمن ضل عن سبيله و هو اعلم بالمهتدين.
فلا تُطع المُكذبين، ودْوا لو تدهن فيدهنون
و لا تُطعِ كل حلاف مهِّين،
همازٍ مشاءٍ بنميم
مناعٍ للخير معتدٍ اثيم، عُتُلٍ بعد ذلك زنيم
أن كان ذا مالٍ و بنين، إذا تتلى عليه أياتنا قال أساطير الأولين
سنسِمُهُ عل الخرطوم، إنا بلوناهم كما بلونا أصحاب الجنهٍ إذ أقسموا ليصر منها مصبحين، و لا يستثنون
فطاف عليها طائِفُمن ربك و هم نائمون،
فأصبحت كالصريم، فتنادوا مصبحين
أن إغدوا على حَرثكم إن كنتم صارمين
فانطلقوا و هم يتخافتون
ان لا يدخلنها اليوم عليكُم بمسكين
واغدوا على حردٍ قادرين
فلما راؤها قالوا إنا لضالون،
بل نحن محرومون،
قال أوسطهم ألم أقل لكم لولا تسبحون،
قالوا سبحان ربنا إنا كنا ظالمين.
فأقبل بعضهم علي بعض يتلاومون
قالوا ياويلنا إنا كنا طاغييِن
عسىٰ ربنا ان يبدلنا خيراً منها إنا إلىٰ ربنا رٰغبون،
كذلك العذابُ و لعذابُ الأخرةِ أكبر لو كانوا يعلمون،
إن للمُتقينَ عند رَبِهِم جنَّٰتِ النعيم،
أفنجعل المُسلمين كالمجرمينَ،
ما لكم كيف تحكمون،
أم لكم كتٰبٌ فيهِ تدرسونَ،
إن لكم فيه لما تخيَّرون،
أم لكم أَيمٰن علينا بٰلغة إلي يوم القيامه إن لكم لما تحكمون،
سلهم أيهم بذلك زعيم،
أم لهم شُركاء فليأتوا بشركائِهم إن كانوا صٰدقين،
يوم يُكشف عن ساقٍو يدعون إلى السُّجودِ فلا يستطيعون،
خاشعة أبصارهم ترهقهم ذلهٌ و قد كانوا يدعون إلى السجود و هم سالمون،
فذرني و من يكذب بهذا الحديث سنستدرجهم من حيث لا يعلمون،
و أُمل لهم إن كيدى متين،
أم تسئلهم اجرا فهم من مغرم مُّثقلون،
أم عندهم الغيب فهم يكتبون،
فاصبر لحُكم ربك و لا تكن كصاحب الحوت إذ نادىٰ و هو مكظومٌ،
لولا أن تدٰركه نعمةٌ من ربه لنبذ بالعراء و هو مذمومٌ،
فاجتبٰه ربهُ فجعله من الصالحين،
و إن يكاد الذين كفروا ليزلقونك بأبصٰرهم لما سمعوا الذكر و يقولون إنه لمجنونٌ،
و ما هو إلا ذكرٌ للعٰلمين.
صدق الله العظيم.

The Pen

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,
Nun. By the pen and what they write,
You are not, by the favor of your Lord, a madman.
And indeed, for you is a reward uninterrupted.
And indeed, you are of a great moral character. So you will see, and they will see, which of you is the afflicted one.
Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of the guided.
So do not obey the deniers. They wish you would compromise, so they might compromise.
And do not obey every persistent swearer,
A slanderer, going about with calumnies,
A preventer of good, transgressing and sinful, rude, and on top of that, illegitimate.
Because he possesses wealth and children, when Our verses are recited to him, he says, "Legends of the former peoples."
We will brand him on the trunk (of his nose). Indeed, We have tried them as We tried the companions of the garden, when they swore to pluck from it in the morning, without exception.
But there came upon it a visitation from your Lord while they were asleep,
So it became black as night. And they called out to each other in the morning,
Saying, "Go out early to your field if you would pluck."
So they set out, whispering secretly to each other,
Saying, "No poor person will enter it upon you today."
And they went early in the morning determined to prevent.
But when they saw it, they said, "Indeed, we are lost.
Rather, we are deprived."
The most just of them said, "Did I not say to you, 'Why do you not exalt [Allah]?'"
They said, "Glory to our Lord. Indeed, we were wrongdoers."
Then they turned to each other, blaming each other.
They said, "O woe to us! Indeed, we were excessive."
Perhaps our Lord will substitute for us [one] better than it. Indeed, we are toward our Lord desirous."
Such is the punishment. And indeed, the punishment of the Hereafter is greater, if they only knew.
Indeed, for the righteous are gardens of bliss with their Lord.
Then will We treat the Muslims like the criminals?
What is [the matter] with you? How do you judge?
Or do you have a Book in which you study?
Indeed, for you in it is whatever you choose.
Or do you have oaths upon Us extending to the Day of Resurrection that you have whatever you judge?
Ask them which of them is responsible for this.
Or do they have partners? Then let them produce their partners, if they should be truthful.
[On] the Day the shin will be uncovered, and they are invited to prostration, but they will not be able.
Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they had been invited to prostration while they were sound.
So leave Me alone with whoever denies this narration. We will progressively lead them from where they do not know.
And I will give them time. Indeed, My plan is firm.
Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask them for payment? But they, from a penalty, are burdened.
Or do they have the unseen, so they write?
So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not be like the companion of the fish, when he called out while he was in distress.
Had it not been that [he was overtaken] by a favor from his Lord, he would have been thrown onto the barren ground while he was censured.
But his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous.
And indeed, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip with their eyes as they listen to the message, and they say, "Indeed, he is mad."
But it is not except a reminder to the worlds.
