O you who are gentler than the leaves in the rain's kisses,
You are the awakening of a star in the eyes of brooks.
The mirror of your gaze is the union of the dawn and the shore,
And your smiles are the stars of the morning sky.
Come back to me, for in your absence my silence has turned into madness,
And my cries have stirred the stones of the mountains.
O flowing stream, do not run away from this shady leaf,
For many have lost such opportunities.

And I replied that even time could not erase it.
