پای هفت سین تک و تنها
اونقدر حالم خرابه
دیگه حتی ماهی از دلتنگی اومده رو آبه
اگه میبینی که روزی خدا برات کمه
آخه چشممون به سکه های سفره ی همه
عید امسال خیلی سوت و کور تر از سال های پیشه
وقتی تنهایی سبزه ی عید بدجوری پژمرده میشه
میدونم سال دیگم غمگین تر از سالای قبل پس
آرزوی سال تحویلم همون
دعای قبل ِ که خدایا.
کاری کن تو چهره ی مردممون خنده رو لب باشه
نبینیم هیچ کسی محتاج ، یه لقمه نون شب باشه
نزار هیشکی با غم و غصه پای هفت سین بشینه
سال تحویل خاطرات مردشو دورش بچینه

Every Year's Eid (Eyde Har Sal)

Alone by the Haft-Seen spread,
My state is so downcast,
Even the fish has come to the surface from loneliness.
If you see that God's daily grace is scarce,
It's because our eyes are on the coins of everyone's spread.
This year's Eid is much quieter than previous years,
When alone, the Eid sprouts wither terribly.
I know next year will be sadder than the years before, so
My New Year's wish is the same
Prayer as before, that God,
Make smiles bloom on the faces of our people,
Let us not see anyone in need of a morsel of bread for the night.
Don't let anyone sit by the Haft-Seen with sorrow and grief,
Let the New Year gather memories of their loved ones around them.
