A inspiração navegar por oceanos bravios
Incendiando navios pra não saber mais voltar

Eu vou todo prosa escrevendo versos
Rumos tão diversos, rimas perigosas
No mundo virado a mim me foi dado a chance do risco
Que nem um corisco, arrisco adoidado

Ao embalar corações, projeto um belo futuro
Para livrar-me do escuro ascendo meus lampiões
Por esses grandes sertões das veredas tropicais
E até pelos litorais, é a luz do sol que me acalma
Pelas marés de minha alma vou afogando meus ás

Na carpintaria dos meus devaneios
Eu tive outros meios e fiz poesia
De noite e de dia e nas madrugadas
Ouvi trovoadas de nuvens tão pretas
Em nome das letras, topei as paradas

Assim vou pegando a reta nos sulcos desse vinil
Todo e qualquer desafio encaro como poeta
Pra quem a vida interpreta, o tempo se reinventa
Não me derruba a tormenta, no traço de cada linha
Aqui vou deixando a minha alvorada dos setenta

The Dawn of the Seventies

The earth so well prepared, that is finally promised
With so many years of life, my fortune is cast
Pulsing on this beat, I let love carry me
Inspiration set sail on the wild oceans
Setting fire to ships, so as not to know how to return

I'm in a prose writing verses
So many different directions, dangerous rhymes
In the topsy-turvy world, I was given the chance to take a risk
Like a flash of lightning, I take crazy risks

As I cradle hearts, I design a beautiful future
To free myself from the darkness, I light my lanterns
Through these great deserts and tropical trails
And even along the coasts, it is the sunlight that calms me
On the tides of my soul, I drown my aces

In the carpentry shop of my reveries
I had other means, and I made poetry
By night and by day, and in the early hours
I heard the thunderstorms of such black clouds
In the name of lyrics, I topped the charts

And so, I take the straight path in the grooves of this vinyl
Any and every challenge I face as a poet
For those who interpret life, time is reinvented
The storms don't bring me down, in the stroke of each line
Here I am leaving my dawn of the seventies
