Sonnenbrand lässt Hände erstarren

All diese Narben, Tränen unerwünscht
Lass wund geriebne Hände heilen
Ich zieh die Fäden, doch nicht mit Licht streit ich
Doch das ist Lebens Herausforderung
Ich fühl mich lebend im Kampfgetümmel
Warf die Uhr gen Himmel, sah Zeit verfliegen
Hände überm Sonnenbrand, Füße im Sumpf versunken
Oberflächlich betäubt, lass Bürgen schwinden
Mein Leben aufzuheben, verbrannt' die Hände
Asche weht im Wind mit sanftem Hauch
Sieh nur, was die Nacht vollbracht hat
