葉桜を濡らす初夏の雨
君が来るのを待ってる僕
濡れてしぼんだネコ 君に重ねて
紫陽花みたいだね
鮮やかに咲く街並みの傘
真赤なビニール傘 君の横顔赤く染めた
木陰の鳥達 空を待ちわびてる
生憎僕はこの雨、嫌じゃない
傘を一つたたんで小さな僕の傘に
君を招いて
凛とした空気は堰を切った
指先が軽く触れ合う距離
今日の君は髪を結い上げ
昨日よりも大人に見えた
ありふれた日常 染まってゆけ
雨は止み机にペンをおいた
空はいつしか流れ始めた
僕が君についていた嘘
きっと君は知ってたよね, 初めから
僕らの失敗は雨に流れ
やがて僕達も押し流した
君が描く幸せの絵に僕の姿は見当たらない

Rainy Orchestra

With this snow-white pen, I start to write,

Through the window, like that fateful day,
The ceaseless rain pours, keeping us at bay,
Endlessly tapping, on and on it goes,
Pit-a-pat, pit-a-pat, one or two, it shows,
Outside my window, it softly whispers,
The rain, a symphony, my heart it quivers,
My darling, have you got an umbrella today?
"Farewell to this day," we repeat, come what may
As I gaze at the sky, where light gently streams,
In this ordinary, echoing orchestra of dreams
That the rain has composed.
Within this city, where sinners reside,
I'll find you, my love, with unwavering stride,
The early summer rain, drenching cherry blossoms in bloom,
As I wait for you, my heart consumed,
A drenched, wilted cat, I see you there,
Like an enchanting hydrangea, beyond compare,
Umbrellas of vibrant hues, painting the streets so grand,
Your crimson umbrella, a beacon in my hand,
Beneath the trees, the birds await the sky,
I must confess, I rather like this rain, you know, my dear, why?
Folding your umbrella, I invite you near,
Beneath my tiny shelter, no need to fear,
The air, so fresh, like a dam has burst,
Our fingers graze, a gentle touch, at first,
Your hair, tied up today, in a graceful style,
Making you seem more grown, my heart beguiled,
This simple moment, forever entwined,
I set down my pen, my thoughts refined,
As the sky above us begins to flow,
The lies I've told, you see, my love, you know,
You've known from the start, my deepest dread,
Our failures washed away, by the rain overhead,
Carrying us both along, like whispers softly spoken,
In the painting of your happiness, my presence has been broken,
In your eyes, I see a reflection so clear,
Within this city of sinners, I found you, my dear,
Unerringly, through the rain, my love, you appeared,
The early summer rain, on cherry blossoms so endeared,
Now that you're gone, my search continues,
