Ando cruzando el pasto anochecido

La fiesta ha terminado y sigo vivo
Juntando espectros, pasado y frio
Pasado y frio como una despedida
Un andar solo doliendo el alma

Casi que ni me acuerdo de tu poesia
Casi un soneto casi una rima
Todo lo quema el tiempo menos la vida
Queda el silencio, como una espina
Una espina de tu vino cadencioso
Tibio y agrio le bebo a sorbos

Si te llegara a encontrar
No sera una casualidad,
Todo tiene un principio y fin
No será solo un paseo
Por la cuspide del cielo,
Sera lo que deba ser, será

Ando en zig zag esquivando ruinas
Entre el escombro y la fatiga
Poniendo paños frios a la desidia
Con una lupa, en los sentidos
Te fuiste tan temprano sin despedida,
Desnudo y fragil, con poca prisa

Si te llegara a encontrar
No sera una casualidad,
Todo tiene un principio y fin
No será solo un paseo
Por la cuspide del cielo,
Sera lo que deba ser, será

Yesterday evening, as I cross the field
The noise is gone, all gone now
The party is over, but I'm still alive
Collecting my feelings, past and cold
Past and cold like a goodbye
Walking alone, my soul aching

I barely remember your poetry
Almost a sonnet, almost a rhyme
Time takes it all, but not life
Silence fills the air like a thorn
A thorn from your flowing wine
I drink it slowly, bitter and sweet

If I were to find you
It would not be a coincidence
Everything has a beginning and an end
It would not be just a walk
Across the sky's peak
It will be what it has to be, will be

I zigzag through the ruins
Amidst the rubble and weariness
Cooling the fever of my idleness
With a magnifying glass, in my senses
You left so early, without a goodbye
Naked and fragile, not in a hurry
