一毕业就有一堆已经成名的大师邀他合作，如萨克斯风手Greg Osby、
吉他手John Scofield、才女贝斯手Esperanza Spalding等等。
《Golden Age》是Nir Felder加盟老字号新包装的OKeh唱片公司首张作品，
邀请另外三位同样年轻且才华洋溢的音乐家合作，钢琴手Aaron Parks、
贝斯手Matt Pemman与鼓手Nate Smith。专辑标题《Golden Age》，
Felder想表达的想法很深刻："我们活在一个黄金年代吗？"、"你经历过所谓的黄金年代吗？
"、"什么是黄金年代？"、"我们的年代是在变好，还是变坏？"...，
藉由音乐表达自己对这个时代一切现象的反思。年纪轻轻已有"乐以载道"的野心，
千万不可小觑！最特别的地方在于他音乐里不时取样穿插一些过往名人的言谈纪录，
你可能听出来谁是谁的，包括纽约洋基队着名铁人Lou Gehrig、人权斗士Malcolm X，
以及一生功过褒贬不一的美国前总统Richard Nixon等等。
每首曲子都很有味道，比方说第五轨《Code》，
有点像是遥对"骊歌"〈Auld Lang Syne〉致敬的调调。至于其他曲目，就请您自行品味了。
噢对了，Nir Felder小时后的偶像是Stevie Ray Vaughan，
据说他现在还在弹那把13岁时花250美金买下的Stratocaster呢！

Nir Felder is very young, having only graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston in 2005.
During his studies, he won the school's guitar award, the "Jimi Hendrix Award." Think about it,
defeating all the other geniuses in a place that gathers a bunch of geniuses, of course it's amazing! So,
as soon as he graduated, a bunch of famous masters invited him to collaborate, such as saxophonist Greg Osby,
guitarist John Scofield, and talented bassist Esperanza Spalding.
Golden Age is Nir Felder's first work after joining the long-established and newly packaged OKeh Records,
inviting three other talented young musicians to collaborate, pianist Aaron Parks,
bassist Matt Penman and drummer Nate Smith. The album title Golden Age,
Felder's ideas are very profound: "Are we living in a golden age?", "Have you experienced a so-called golden age?
"What is a golden age?", "Is our age getting better or worse?"...,
using music to express his reflections on all aspects of this era. He has the ambition to "carry the meaning in his music" at a young age,
and he should not be underestimated! The most special thing is that his music often samples and intersperses some past celebrities' speeches,
you may hear who's who, including New York Yankees' famous iron man Lou Gehrig, human rights activist Malcolm X,
and former US President Richard Nixon, who has had mixed reviews throughout his life.
Each song has its own flavor, for example, the fifth track Code,
it's a bit like a tribute to "Auld Lang Syne." As for the other tracks, please savor them yourself.
Oh, by the way, Nir Felder's childhood idol was Stevie Ray Vaughan,
and it is said that he still plays the Stratocaster he bought when he was 13 for $250!
