My dearest, wherever you are and whatever you're doing as you read this letter,

There's something that I couldn't tell anyone when I was fifteen.

I'm writing this letter to my future self,
So that I can finally be honest with you.

Now that I'm on the verge of giving up, crying, and disappearing,
Whose words should I believe?
My heart, which is unique, has shattered into pieces time and time again,
And I'm struggling to live in the midst of this pain.
I'm living in the present.

My dearest, thank you. There's something I'd like to tell my fifteen-year-old self.

I can find the answer if I keep asking myself who I am and where I should go.

The sea of youth is rough and unforgiving,
But my ship of dreams will sail towards the shore of tomorrow.

Now, don't give up, don't cry, when you feel like you're about to disappear,

As an adult, I too have nights when I can't sleep because of my wounds,
But I'm living in the present, which is both bitter and sweet.
