Jede Straße hier erinnert mich an was
Heimat ist doch immer da, wo deine Wurzeln liegen
Bei mir zu viele, meine Vorfahren wurden vertrieben
Heute heißt Heimat einmal quer durchs ganze Land ICE fahrn
Familie sehen, die ich jahrelang nicht gesehn hab
Doch überall wo anders hab ich Sehnsucht, Trinke Kindl
Atme Spreeluft, die Eltern von mein Freunden
Stellen mir Essen aufm Tisch, das ist Heimat, das ist Glück
Das vergesse ich euch nicht!

Meine Base, meine Fam, meine Fans, mein Leben, meine Gegend
Meine Welt, meine Stadt, meine Straßen, mein Land, meine Crew
Meine Lieder, Mein Blut, Meine Brüder

Die Stadt bleibt meine Heimat
Auch wenn hier kaum noch Berliner sind
Doch Heimat bedeutet mehr was für mich, meine Familie
Und die Leute dich ich liebe sind, ich beteube mich in vielen Dingen
Doch fühl ich deutlich was die für mich sind und enge Freunde
Die bis heute noch geblieben sind, bei so vielen falschen Leuten
Die nur wussten was Intrigen sind, so vieles stinkt

Ich war vor über einem Jahrzehnt das letzte mal da
Währenddessen hier und da, zuhause, im Westen der Stadt
Heimat ist das was mich nicht verlässt wenn ich schlaf′
Ein Mensch kann überall zuhause sein, aber nicht daheim!

Wenn mein Viertel und die Straßen
Sich so anfühlen wie am Telefon
Die Stimmen von Verwandten
Und wenn in mein' Gedanken
Gerüche und Klänge, die ich von früher kenne
Wie Bilder für immer eingebrannt sind
Bis vom Fernweh nichts mehr übrig bleibt
Wenn ich persisch rede über Skype
Wenn ich durch Berlin gehe spür ichs gleich
Der Ort von dem ich her komme
Der Ort an dem ich sterben will
Nur wenn ich hier bin merke ich, ich fühl mich frei
Denn meine Heimat ist für mich
Wie ein Teil von meinem Glück

Every street here reminds me of something
Home is always where your roots are
Too many for me, my ancestors were displaced
Today, home means taking the ICE train across the entire country
Seeing family I haven't seen in years
But everywhere else I have longing, I drink Kindl
Breathe Spreeluft, the parents of my friends
Put food on the table for me, that's home, that's happiness
I won't forget that!

My base, my fam, my fans, my life, my hood
My world, my city, my streets, my country, my crew
My songs, my blood, my brothers

The city remains my home
Even though there are hardly any Berliners left here
But home means more to me, my family
And the people I love are, I doubt myself in many things
But I clearly feel what they are to me and close friends
Who have stayed until today, with so many fake people
Who only knew what intrigues are, so much stinks
But my nose was clogged, I drive through the blocks
And I breathe your smoke, 23 years of experience
Fill my head and I'm still where I come from
My father from Iran, my roots are there
And every day I feel a little longing for it
I was there for the last time over a decade ago
Meanwhile here and there, at home, in the west of the city
Home is what doesn't leave me when I sleep
A person can be at home anywhere, but not at home!

When I speak Persian on Skype
When I walk through Berlin I feel it right away
The place I come from
