Perdi minha frágil condição da criatura

Quando o seu corpo se mistura no meu corpo
Não se confundem as distintas condições
O sempre outro em seus braços me recebe
Retorno ao rudi da beleza original

Retiro o exesso que ofusca a semelhança
Feito criança põe minh'alma pra dançar
Leva-me ao colo me apresenta o paraíso
Em meio ao riso me ensina o verbo amar

The Absent Always In Me

When beauty prays its liturgies
Everything is beautiful, even the pain that bleeds in us
Consecrating the earth, the sacred awakens us
And puts in the world's eyes its gaze

I lost my fragile condition of creature
Sweet suture reaching my heart
It tills my dreams, sows me with hope
And shapes my love for your love

And so I am becoming myself, wanting to be much more
In the one who makes me be him again
And so I am what I am in what he is
Mystery that brings me the absent always in me

When your body mingles with my body
Our distinct conditions do not merge
The always other in your arms receives me
I return to the rudiments of original beauty

I remove the excess that obscures the resemblance
Like a child, you make my soul dance
You take me in your arms, show me paradise
Amidst laughter, you teach me the verb to love

And so I am becoming myself, wanting to be much more
In the one who makes me be him again
And so I am what I am in what he is
Mystery that brings me the absent always in me

When sadness takes over my soul
With a calm voice, you reassure me that you are there
If in the roads, in the searches, I don't find myself
You come in silence, guiding me with a gentle light

When the stanzas of my life are sad
You come to surprise me with the light of yours
Over the imperfect words that I possess
You pour the gift of your perfection

And so I am becoming myself, wanting to be much more

Mystery that brings me the absent always in me

If in the silence of my soul verses dwell
The whole universe is born from your heart
If with words beauty becomes an adjective
All goodness finds its reason in you

I carry in my soul the marks of this partnership
