E scuote la proboscide per confermare il no!
"Son giorni che marciamo, marciamo e digiuniamo,
Procurami un panino che non ce la faccio più!"
"Perciò, perciò", conferma Aristide,
"Da qui io non mi sposto, non faccio un metro in più.
Ma guardati un po' intorno, non vedi che è un bel giorno,
Invece della guerra organizziamo un bel pic-nic!"
Aristide sei forte, sei tutti noi!

Ormai tutto l′esercito rifiuta di procedere
E dice al generale: "Aristide ha ragione,
Ma cosa mai ci stiamo a fare qua!"

E' stupefatto Annibale,
Ooohhh!
E pensa: "Ho le traveggole!"

"Vergogna! Tradimento! Che grosso fallimento
Per colpa di quell'elefante là!
Per Giove me la pagherà!
Balordo pachiderma, guarda cosa hai combinato,
Per colpa tua, la guerra non la posso fare più!"

"Meglio così", gli dice Aristide
E scuote la proboscide per confermare il sì!
"Combattere battaglie, è poco salutare
Vuoi mettere il piacere di gustarsi un bel babà!"
"Perciò perciò", conferma Aristide,
"Da qui io non mi sposto, non faccio un metro in più.
Ma guardati un po′ intorno, non vedi che è un bel giorno
Invece della guerra organizziamo un bel pic-nic!"

Su datti una calmata e non pensarci più.
