My pen is alert this morning,
It regilds the words,
A little worn and overused, true,
But who have not said their last word.
It will exalt free words,
Subversion, and irreverence,
Dispute my morality of books,
Clear the names of suspect words.

My pen finds itself at the center,
At the heart of the subject,
