I learn that sometimes depression looks exactly a smile on the face or
A positive take or provocative ways
Getting back in the bed cause you don't mind being late
A single mother of 2 who don't have hobbies or faith
The obvious aint so obvious when your mind is at stake
And honestly it could probably be defined as a case
Embodying angst and wondering if I'll I be embraced
The timing aint safe that pressure make a diamond relate
Invisible was going on inside and I aint safe from it
I could ignore it and stay stunting or instead reflect and figure what I could take from it
After that short stop I'll bring it home like I'm base running
But trust it ain't easy when anxiety mixed with lack of sobriety
Fire you up and make you forget yourself
And shit I could agree at irony loner with notoriety
One of the worse feelings I've ever felt

Wende wirklich an, was du lerntest in Therapie
Gedanken werden Dinge, Selbstliebe die Medizin

Ich kämpfte mit Empathie für mich und für Gefühle ebenso
Und trug die Strafe dafür, dass der Geist verzerrt war

Ich lernte: Manchmal sieht Depression genau aus wie ein Lächeln im Gesicht
Oder 'ne positive Haltung, provokative Art
Bleibst länger im Bett, liegt dir Pünktlichkeit nicht
Alleinerziehend mit zwei Kindern, kein Hobby, kein Glaube
Das Offensichtliche ist nicht so offensichtlich, wenn dein Geist auf dem Spiel steht
Und ehrlich gesagt, könnte man es wohl als Fall bezeichnen
Angst verkörpernd, fragend, ob man mich wohl aufnimmt
Der Zeitpunkt ist riskant, Druck macht Diamanten verständlich
Unsichtbar war, was innen vorging, und ich war nicht sicher davor
Könnt's ignorieren, weiter protzen, stattdessen reflektieren und schaun, was ich mitnehme
Nach dieser kurzen Pause bring ich's heim wie beim Baserunning
Doch vertu dich nicht, wenn Angst sich mischt mit mangelnder Nüchternheit
Feuert dich an und lässt dich selbst vergessen
Und ja, ich stimm zu bei der Ironie: Einzelgänger mit Bekanntheit
