Oto się rodzi wobec świata, nowa bajka, nowy sen.
Nie będzie skrzatów, krasnoludów, tylko nastrój, tylko dźwięk.
Jeżeli serca wam nie spłoną, to na darmo szukam słów,
Jeżeli zadrżą i załkają, to w poezji mieszka Bóg.

Ulotność spraw, zostaje w nas.

Z moich wieczorów uzbierałem meteorów srebrny kosz,
Z moich podróży same kształty, które tworzą ciepły ton.
Wszystko przynoszę wam i daję jak pachnący, jasny chleb.
Byśmy się wzajem przekonali jak smakuje nowa pieśń.

Niech wieje wiatr.
Ulotność spraw, zostaje w nas.

Ephemerality

Here it is born towards the world, a new fairy tale, a new dream.
There will be no gnomes, no dwarfs, only mood, only sound.
If your hearts do not burn, it is in vain that I seek words,
If they tremble and sob, then in poetry dwells God.

Let the rain fall,
Let the wind blow.
The ephemerality of things stays with us.

From my evenings I've gathered a silver basket of meteors,
From my travels only shapes that create a warm tone.
I bring all to you and give it as fragrant, light bread.
So that we might mutually learn how the new song tastes.
