And are practically neck to neck in the polling
And the yellow party, yeah the party you′ve invested all in your hopes in
And your vote will probably be in vain

I know this sounds insane and probably makes you feel like you'd do better
If you just abstain and didn′t vote for no one, like "fuck 'em they all the same"
No one represents me or my peoples anyways
But what if one party is the best of a bad bunch
And you'd rather them get into power than those other lying cunts?

What then, think practically
The only way of ensuring the worst don′t happen is by voting tactically
I.e., voting for the party you hate least so the one you hate most don′t just win automatically
In the past this has worked with those of you liberals in the center who've acted pragmatically
Accepting things the way they are without trying to change ′em dramatically
'Cause you know you′ll lose systematically
But we're livin′ in different times now, unprecedented
Trump is in his door and signed in a sick political system
However demented and know it, man, it can be done
If you ain't gonna go out and vote the same way all your family and friends did

So go on, roll the dice and play the game, not all constituencies are the same
Some are red, some are blue, and some are altogether strange mixes of the two
That hang in the balance, and you might do well by putting your "X" up on that ballot

That seat in the commons still has some value in it
Even if your party ain't running government
They can have a voice within it, veto policies they don′t agree with
They′re the party in control of trying to pass through and get 'em beated
Like when Boris tried to provo parliament and got defeated

This is about how you want to move forward
What kind of future you want for your sons and your daughters?
And all you OAP′s out there
The ones that are probably going to die in the next ten years anyway
Why don't you ask your fifteen, sixteen year old grandkids who they′d vote for

Then vote lib dem in the consistencies they have a realistic stake in

Or any of the other smaller independent parties
In the areas they have some actual clout in and force a hung parliament
So no motherfucker has the majority and we get another coalition government

Vote with your head and your heart in equal measures

Aber schau dir das Schlupfloch an, es heißt taktisches Wählen
Wenn du in einem Gebiet lebst, wo die meisten deiner Nachbarn eine Mischung aus Blau und Rot sind
Und in den Umfragen praktisch Kopf an Kopf liegen
Und die gelbe Partei, ja, die Partei, in die du all deine Hoffnungen gesetzt hast
Dann wird deine Stimme wahrscheinlich umsonst sein

Ich weiß, das klingt verrückt und gibt dir wahrscheinlich das Gefühl, du wärst besser dran
Wenn du dich einfach enthieltest und für niemanden stimmst, so nach dem Motto 'Scheiß drauf, die sind alle gleich'
Niemand vertritt mich oder meine Leute sowieso
Aber was, wenn eine Partei das Beste aus einem schlechten Haufen ist
Und du lieber hättest, dass sie an die Macht kommen, als diese anderen lügenden Wichser?

Was dann? Denk praktisch
Der einzige Weg sicherzustellen, dass das Schlimmste nicht passiert, ist taktisch zu wählen
D.h., für die Partei zu stimmen, die du am wenigsten hasst, damit die, die du am meisten hasst, nicht einfach automatisch gewinnt
In der Vergangenheit hat das bei denen von euch Liberalen in der Mitte funktioniert, die pragmatisch gehandelt haben
Die Dinge so akzeptieren, wie sie sind, ohne zu versuchen, sie dramatisch zu ändern
Weil du weißt, dass du systematisch verlieren wirst
Aber wir leben jetzt in anderen Zeiten, beispiellosen
Trump ist drin und Teil eines kranken politischen Systems
Wie verrückt es auch sein mag, und glaub mir, Mann, es kann geschafft werden
Wenn du rausgehst und eben nicht so wählst, wie es deine ganze Familie und Freunde getan haben.

Also los, würfle und spiel das Spiel, nicht alle Wahlkreise sind gleich
Manche sind rot, manche sind blau, und manche sind ganz seltsame Mischungen aus beidem
Die auf der Kippe stehen, und du könntest gut daran tun, dein Kreuz auf diesen Stimmzettel zu setzen
Gib etwas Würze in diesen Salat, versuch einfach, es zu drehen, hoffe, deine Partei gewinnt ihn
Dieser Sitz im Unterhaus hat immer noch einen gewissen Wert
Selbst wenn deine Partei nicht die Regierung stellt
Sie können darin eine Stimme haben, gegen Politiken, mit denen sie nicht einverstanden sind, ein Veto einlegen

Wenn nichts vorwärts geht, bis dieses Problem behoben ist

Also wähl Tory, wenn du frei von europäischem Einfluss sein willst
Und der 51. Staat der USA werden willst, wenn es um Handel geht
Oder wähl Labour und hab ein weiteres Referendum darüber, ob wir die EU verlassen
Jetzt, wo jeder besser über die Situation informiert ist
Wenn du dir Sorgen machst, dass Jeremy die Schaffung von Wohlstand erstickt
Und nicht für Boris stimmen willst, weil du ihn verdammt hasst
Dann wähl Lib Dem in den Wahlkreisen, in denen sie eine realistische Chance haben
Oder die Grüne Partei, höre ich einige von euch rufen
Respekt, wenn du da deine Position behauptest
Oder irgendeine der anderen kleineren unabhängigen Parteien
In den Gebieten, wo sie tatsächlich Einfluss haben, und erzwinge ein Parlament ohne absolute Mehrheit [Hung Parliament]
Damit kein Arschloch die Mehrheit hat und wir wieder eine Koalitionsregierung bekommen
