Qui faisait peur aux employés du magasin d'antiquités
Mon père rentre dans l'magasin, suivi d'Johnny pis ses copains
Ma mère le tire à bout portant a'ec son gun noir chargé à blanc

Mon père en crisse a pris ma mère par les épaules
Et tous les deux, ils ont dansé un rock'n'roll
La police fait son entrée à coup d'pieds dins antiquités
Le gérant trouvait ça moins drôle

La police a ramené ma mère à la maison
Pis y sont allés r'conduire mon père à la prison
Johnny, y est r'tourné s'coucher parce qu'y était pas mal fatigué
Mais l'histoire en dit pas plus long

Johnny was reading his newspaper on the sofa,
A hold-up on the front page, it jumped right in his face,
And he went out to check it out.

After leaving my mother at the mall,
My father had gone to buy some tobacco,
Coming out of the tobacco shop, he heard two gunshots,
And he wondered what was going on.

My mother standing on the counter with a gun between her teeth,
Scaring the employees of the antique shop,
My father enters the shop, followed by Johnny and his friends,
My mother shoots him point-blank with her black gun loaded with blanks.

My father, pissed off, grabbed my mother by the shoulders,
And together, they danced a rock'n'roll,
The police kicked down the door of the antique shop,
The manager didn't find it so funny.

The police took my mother home,
And they took my father to jail,
Johnny went back to bed because he was pretty tired,
But the story doesn't say any more.
