Ash: Ohh... I know this one!

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even Meowth.

Ash: Ha-ha!
Brock: Eggnog's ready!
Ash: Eggnog!?
Misty: Yeah... Brock made eggnog and Christmas cookies.
Ash: Alright!
Brock: Oh, you guys are reading "The Night Before Christmas". Twas the night before Christmas and...
Ash: Uh... I already read that part. Pick it up from here, Brocko.
Brock: Right...

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.

The children were nestled, all snug in their beds
While visions of Vileplumes danced in their heads.

Brock: Mmm... Hey, uh, where d'you download this version from, Misty?
Misty: Heh-heh...

And my mom in her kerchief and Mr. Mime in my cap
(And I think Professor Oak was there too)
Had just settled their brains for a longer Winter′s nap

When out on the roof, there arose such a clatter

Ash: Hey... what was that? Did anybody else hear that?

I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter

Away to the window I flew like a flash
Tore open the shutter and saw Rapidash

The moon on the breast of the new fallen snow
Gave the luster of midday to Jynx′s below

When what to my half-open eyes should appear
But a miniature sleigh and eight tiny reindeer

With the little old driver so lively and quick
I knew in a moment, it must be St. Nick!

More rapid than Moltres his course as they came
He whistled and shouted and called them by name

Ash: Wah!
Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!
Ash: Team Rocket! I knew I heard something! What are you doing here?
Meowth: We came to capture some rare Pokémon, so the Boss will give us our Christmas bonuses this year.
Jessie: Oh, isn't that quaint? They′re reading a Christmas poem.
James: Oooo! Jessie, this is my favorite part!

Now Dasher, now Dancer, now Prancer and Vixen
On Comet, on Cupid, on Donner and Blitzen

To the top of the porch, to the top of the wall
Now dash away, dash away, dash away all

Ash: Anyway... As I was saying...
Jessie: Move over twerp, I'm reading this part.

As dry leaves, that before the wild hurricane fly
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky
So up to the housetop, the courses they flew
With a sleigh full of toys

And some Pokémon too.

And then in a twinkling, I heard on the rooftop
The prancing and pawing of each little Machop
As I drew in my head and was turning around
Down the chimney, St. Nicholas came with a pound

He was dressed all in fur from his head to his foot...
(A lot like me, actually...)
And his clothes were all tarnished, like Ash′s, with soot

Ash: Huh?

A bundle of toys he had flung on his back
And he looked like a trainer just opening his pack

His eyes, how they twinkled, his dimples, how merry
Oooo! His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry
His drone little mouth was drawn up like a bow
And the beard on his chin was as white as the snow

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his cheek
And he smoked it and circled his head like a reef

He had a broad face and a little round belly
That swhen he laughed like a bowlful of jelly

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of my self
A wink of his eye and twist of his head
Soon gave me the note, I had nothing to dread

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work
And filled all the stockings then turned with a jerk

And laying his finger, aside of his nose
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle
And away they all flew, like, uh, the down of a thistle

But I heard him exclaim, as he drove off to the mall:

Чулки были аккуратно развешаны у камина.
В надежде, что Святой Николай скоро будет там.

Дети уютно устроились в своих кроватках.
А в их головах плясали образы мерзких шлейфов.

Брок: МММ ... Эй, э-э, откуда ты скачала эту версию, Мисти?
Мисти: хе-хе...

И моя мама в платке, и Мистер мим в моей кепке.
(И я думаю, что профессор Оук тоже был там).
Они только что успокоили свои мозги для более продолжительного зимнего сна.

Когда на крыше раздался такой грохот

Эш: Эй... что это было?

Я вскочил с кровати, чтобы посмотреть, в чем дело.

Он свистел, кричал и звал их по имени.

Эш: Вау!

Святой Николай спустился по трубе с фунтом.

Он был весь в мехах с головы до пят...
(Очень похоже на меня, на самом деле...)
И вся его одежда была потускневшей, как у Эша, от копоти.

Эш: А?

Он закинул за спину связку игрушек.
Он был похож на тренера, открывающего свой рюкзак.

Его глаза, как они блестели, его ямочки на щеках, какие веселые!
Его щеки были как розы, а нос-как вишенка.
Его маленький ротик был вытянут, как бантик.
И борода на его подбородке была белой, как снег.

Он крепко прижимал к щеке огрызок трубки.
Он курил и кружил головой, как риф.

У него было широкое лицо и маленький круглый живот.
Этот Свен он хохотал как котелок с желе

Он был пухлый и упитанный, настоящий веселый старый эльф.
И я рассмеялась, когда увидела его, несмотря на себя.
Подмигнул и повернул голову.
Вскоре мне передали записку, Мне нечего было бояться.

Он не проронил ни слова и сразу же принялся за работу.
И наполнил все чулки, а потом резко повернулся.

И отложил палец в сторону от носа.
И, кивнув, он поднялся по дымоходу.

Он вскочил на сани, свистнул упряжке.
И все они улетели, как, э-э, пух чертополоха.

Но я слышал, как он воскликнул, когда уезжал в торговый центр:
