月の明かり頼りに歩き出した おぼつかぬ足取り
白い冬も青い夏もそっと踏み出した
いつの間にか迷い込んだ深い森は
暗く湿ったまま止まった
苦しくて叫ぶ声 届かない 何を待つ?
蜘蛛の糸? 青い鳥? 救いを求め天を仰ぐ
ここには先を印す地図は無い そして気付いた事
旅は「未来」という名の終わり無いものだった
見渡せばそこにいくつもの足跡
誰もが通り行く場所なんだろう
身を屈め 泣いていた 音も無いこの深い森に怯えて
耳を塞ぐと 確かな鼓動だけ聞こえた
過ぎて行く時間にも 景色にも変わらないもの
僕たちはここに居る 呼吸を止めずここに居る
そしてまた歩き出そう 先はまだ果てなく永い
僕たちはまだ森の中 抜け出そう 陽のあたる場所へ

Forest of Silence

Walking with the moonlight as my guide, my steps uncertain
Through winters white and summers blue, I set out cautiously
Before I knew it, I had wandered into a deep forest,
Dark and damp and perpetually still
My pained cries for help go unheard. What am I to do?
A spider's thread? A bluebird? I look to the heavens for salvation
There is no map to mark my way forward. And then I realize,
This journey is an endless thing called "the future."
As I look around, I see countless footprints
A place where everyone passes through
I curl up and weep, terrified in this silent, deep forest.
When I cover my ears, I hear only the pounding of my heart,
Unchanging despite the passing of time and the changing scenery.
We are here, breathing, in this place.
We will begin walking again, our journey still long and arduous.
We are still in the forest, but we will find our way out, to a place where the sun shines.
