An Naas

عَمَّ يَتَسَاۤءَلُوْنَۚ
عَنِ النَّبَاِ الْعَظِيْمِۙ
الَّذِيْ هُمْ فِيْهِ مُخْتَلِفُوْنَۗ
كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُوْنَۙ
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُوْنَ
اَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْاَرْضَ مِهٰدًاۙ
وَّالْجِبَالَ اَوْتَادًاۖ
وَّخَلَقْنٰكُمْ اَزْوَاجًاۙ
وَّجَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَاتًاۙ
وَّجَعَلْنَا الَّيْلَ لِبَاسًاۙ
وَّجَعَلْنَا النَّهَارَ مَعَاشًاۚ
وَبَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعًا شِدَادًاۙ
وَّجَعَلْنَا سِرَاجًا وَّهَّاجًاۖ
وَّاَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْصِرٰتِ مَاۤءً ثَجَّاجًاۙ
لِّنُخْرِجَ بِهٖ حَبًّا وَّنَبَاتًاۙ
وَّجَنّٰتٍ اَلْفَافًاۗ
اِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ كَانَ مِيْقَاتًاۙ
يَّوْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِى الصُّوْرِ فَتَأْتُوْنَ اَفْوَاجًاۙ
وَّفُتِحَتِ السَّمَاۤءُ فَكَانَتْ اَبْوَابًاۙ
وَّسُيِّرَتِ الْجِبَالُ فَكَانَتْ سَرَابًاۗ
اِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتْ مِرْصَادًاۙ
لِّلطّٰغِيْنَ مَاٰبًاۙ
لّٰبِثِيْنَ فِيْهَآ اَحْقَابًاۚ
لَا يَذُوْقُوْنَ فِيْهَا بَرْدًا وَّلَا شَرَابًاۙ
اِلَّا حَمِيْمًا وَّغَسَّاقًاۙ
جَزَاۤءً وِّفَاقًاۗ
اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا لَا يَرْجُوْنَ حِسَابًاۙ
وَّكَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَا كِذَّابًاۗ
وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ اَحْصَيْنٰهُ كِتٰبًاۙ
فَذُوْقُوْا فَلَنْ نَّزِيْدَكُمْ اِلَّا عَذَابًا
اِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ مَفَازًاۙ
حَدَاۤىِٕقَ وَاَعْنَابًاۙ
وَّكَوَاعِبَ اَتْرَابًاۙ
وَّكَأْسًا دِهَاقًاۗ
لَا يَسْمَعُوْنَ فِيْهَا لَغْوًا وَّلَا كِذَّابًا
جَزَاۤءً مِّنْ رَّبِّكَ عَطَاۤءً حِسَابًاۙ
رَّبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَمَا
بَيْنَهُمَا الرَّحْمٰنِ لَا يَمْلِكُوْنَ مِنْهُ خِطَابًاۚ
يَوْمَ يَقُوْمُ الرُّوْحُ وَالْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةُ صَفًّاۙ لَّا
يَتَكَلَّمُوْنَ اِلَّا مَنْ اَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابًا
ذٰلِكَ الْيَوْمُ الْحَقُّۚ فَمَنْ
شَاۤءَ اتَّخَذَ اِلٰى رَبِّهٖ مَاٰبًا
اِنَّآ اَنْذَرْنٰكُمْ عَذَابًا قَرِيْبًا ەۙ يَّوْمَ يَنْظُرُ
الْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ
وَيَقُوْلُ الْكٰفِرُ يٰلَيْتَنِيْ كُنْتُ تُرَابًا

An Naas

What are they asking about?
About the great news,
which they disagree on.
Indeed, they will soon know,
Indeed, they will soon know.
Did we not make the earth a resting place?
And the mountains as stakes?
And We created you in pairs,
And We made your sleep a rest,
And We made the night a covering,
And We made the day a means of livelihood?
And We built above you seven strong layers,
And We made a blazing lamp,
And We sent down from the rain-laden clouds water in abundance,
To bring forth by it grain and vegetation,
And gardens with rows of trees.
Indeed, the Day of Separation is an appointed time.
The Day when the Horn is blown, and you will come in throngs.
And the sky is opened, and it becomes gates.
And the mountains are made to move, and they become like a mirage.
Indeed, Hell is a place of ambush,
For the transgressors, a place of return,
They will remain in it for ages.
They will not taste in it coolness or drink,
Except boiling water and pus,
A recompense in accordance.
Indeed, they used not to expect an account,
And they denied Our signs, denying [them].
And We have recorded everything in a book.
So taste [the punishment], and We will not increase you except in torment.
Indeed, for the righteous there is success,
Gardens and vineyards,
And couches placed in rows,
And a cup overflowing.
They will not hear in it any idle talk or falsehood.
A recompense from your Lord, a gift by way of account,
The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them – the Most Merciful.
They will not have any power to speak before Him.
The Day when the spirits and the angels will stand in rows – they will not
speak except whom the Most Merciful permits, and he speaks with truth.
That is the Day of the Truth. So whoever
wants may take to his Lord a way of return.
Indeed, We have warned you of a near torment, the Day when a person
will see what his hands have put forward.
And the disbeliever will say, "Oh, I wish I were dust."
