श्रीगुरु चरण् सरोजरज, निजमनमुकुर सुधार ।
बरणौ रघुबर बिमल यश, जो दायक फलचार ॥
बुद्धिहीन तनु जानिके, सुमिरौं पवन कुमार ।
बल बुद्धिविद्या देहु मोहिं, हरहु कलेश विकार ॥
जय हनुमान ज्ञान गुण सागर ।
जै कपीस तिहुँलोक उजागर ॥1
रामदूत अतुलित बलधामा ।
अंजनि-पुत्र पवन-सुत नामा ॥2
महाबीर बिक्रम बजरंगी ।
कुमति निवार सुमति के संगी ॥3
कंचन बरण बिराज सुबेशा ।
कानन कुंडल कुंचित केशा ॥4
हाथ बज्र औ ध्वजा बिराजै ।
काँधे मूँज जनेऊ साजै ॥5
शंकर-सुवन केशरी-नन्दन ।
तेज प्रताप महा जग-वंदन ॥6
विद्यावान गुणी अति चातुर ।
राम काज करिबे को आतुर ॥7
प्रभु चरित्र सुनिबे को रसिया ।
रामलषण सीता मन बसिया ॥8
सूक्ष्म रूपधरि सियहिं दिखावा ।
विकट रूप धरि लंक जरावा ॥9
भीम रूप धरि असुर सँहारे ।
रामचन्द्र के काज सँवारे ॥10
लाय सजीवन लखन जियाये ।
श्री रघुबीर हरषि उर लाये ॥11
रघुपति कीन्ही बहुत बडाई ।
तुम मम प्रिय भरतहिसम भाई ॥12
सहस बदन तुम्हरो यश गावैं ।
अस कहि श्रीपति कण्ठ लगावैं ॥13
सनकादिक ब्रह्मादि मुनीशा ।
नारद शारद सहित अहीशा ॥14
यम कुबेर दिगपाल जहाँते ।
कवि कोविद कहि सकैं कहाँते ॥15
तुम उपकार सुग्रीवहिं कीन्हा ।
राम मिलाय राजपद दीन्हा ॥16
तुम्हरो मंत्र विभीषण माना ।
लंकेश्वर भये सब जग जाना ॥17
युग सहस्र योजन पर भानू ।
लील्यो ताहि मधुर फल जानू ॥18
प्रभु मुद्रिका मेलि मुख माहीं ।
जलधि लाँधि गये अचरजनाहीं ॥19
दुर्गम काज जगत के जेते ।
सुगम अनुग्रह तुम्हरे तेते ॥20
राम दुआरे तुम रखवारे ।
होत न आज्ञा बिन पैसारे ॥21
सब सुख लहै तुम्हारी सरना ।
तुम रक्षक काहू को डरना ॥22
आपन तेज सम्हारो आपै ।
तीनों लोक हाँकते काँपै ॥23
भूत पिशाच निकट नहिं आवै ।
महाबीर जब नाम सुनावै ॥24
नाशौ रोग हरै सब पीरा ।
जपत निरन्तर हनुमत बीरा ॥25
संकट से हनुमान छुडावै ।
मन क्रम बचन ध्यान जो लावै ॥26
सब पर राम तपस्वी राजा ।
तिनके काज सकल तुम साजा ॥27
और मनोरथ जो कोइ लावै ।
सोइ अमित जीवन फल पावै ॥28
चारों युग परताप तुम्हारा ।
है परसिद्ध जगत उजियारा ॥29
साधु संत के तुम रखवारे ।
असुर निकंदन राम दुलारे ॥30
अष्टसिद्धि नव निधि के दाता ।
अस बर दीन जानकी माता ॥31
राम रसायन तुम्हरे पासा ।
सदा रहो रघुपति के दासा ॥32
तुम्हरे भजन रामको पावै ।
जन्म जन्म के दुख बिसरावै ॥33
अन्त काल रघुपति पुर जाई ।
जहाँ जन्म हरिभक्त कहाई ॥34
और देवता चित्त न धरई ।
हनुमत सेइ सर्व सुख करई ॥35
संकट हरै मिटै सब पीरा ।
जो सुमिरै हनुमत बल बीरा ॥36
जै जै जै हनुमान गोसाई ।
कृपा करहु गुरुदेव की नाई ॥37
जोह शत बार पाठ कर जोई ।
छुटहि बन्दि महासुख होई ॥38
जो यह पढै हनुमान चालीसा ।
होय सिद्धि साखी गौरीसा ॥39
तुलसीदास सदा हरि चेरा ।
कीजै नाथ हृदय महँ डेरा ॥40
पवनतनय संकट हरन,
मंगल मूरति रूप ।
रामलषन सीता सहित,
हृदय बसहु सुरभूप

Shri Hanuman Chalisa

My revered guru's feet adorn my heart, which illuminates my mind like a mirror.
I celebrate the glorious and pure reputation of Lord Rama, who bestows the four fruits of life (dharma, artha, kama, and moksha).
Recognizing my intellectually impoverished body, I remember the son of the wind, Hanuman.
Grant me strength, intelligence, knowledge, and physical health, and remove my afflictions and disorders.
Hail Hanuman, the ocean of knowledge and virtues.
Hail the monkey god, the illuminator of the three worlds.
The celestial messenger of Lord Rama, possessing immense strength.
Son of Anjani and son of the wind, Hanuman is his name.
The mighty, valiant, and courageous one.
The dispeller of evil thoughts and the companion of righteous ones.
With a golden complexion and beautiful attire.
Adorned with earrings and curly hair.
A thunderbolt and a flag in his hands.
A sacred thread of a sage's bark adorns his shoulders.
The son of Lord Shiva and son of Kesari.
Whose brilliance and prowess are revered by the world.
Highly intelligent, virtuous, and extremely clever.
Eager to serve Lord Rama.
Enthusiastic about listening to the stories of Lord Rama.
Lord Rama, his brother Lakshmana, and his wife Sita reside in his heart.
Assuming a minuscule form, he revealed himself to Sita.
Assuming a fearsome form, he burnt down Lanka.
Assuming a terrifying form, he killed demons.
He fulfilled the tasks of Lord Rama.
Bringing the herb that revived Lakshmana.
Lord Rama was delighted and embraced him.
Lord Rama praised him greatly.
You are my beloved brother, as dear as Bharata.
Thousands of mouths sing your praises.
So saying, Lord Rama embraced him.
Sages like Sanaka and Brahma.
Narada, Saraswati, and the king of serpents.
Yama, Kubera, and the guardians of the directions.
Poets and scholars cannot describe you, my dear.
You did a great favor to Sugriva.
You brought him together with Lord Rama and gave him kingship.
Vibhishana accepted your advice.
And became the king of Lanka, as the whole world knows.
You swallowed the sun, which was thousands of leagues away.
Thinking it was a sweet fruit.
Placing Lord Rama's signet ring in his mouth.
He crossed the ocean, astonishing everyone.
The most difficult tasks in the world.
Become easy with your grace.
You are the protector at the gate of Lord Rama.
No one can enter without your permission.
Everyone attains happiness by seeking your protection.
You are the protector, who needs to fear?
You control your own brilliance.
The three worlds tremble at your roar.
Ghosts and evil spirits dare not come near.
When the mighty Hanuman chants your name.
Diseases are destroyed, and all pain is relieved.
Continuously chant the name of the valiant Hanuman.
Hanuman liberates from all troubles.
To those who focus their mind, speech, and actions on him.
Lord Rama is the ascetic king of all.
You fulfill all his tasks.
And whatever other desires one may have.
He attains the boundless fruits of life.
Your glory is spread over all four ages.
And is renowned throughout the world.
You are the protector of saints and sages.
The destroyer of demons, the beloved of Lord Rama.
The giver of eight supernatural powers and nine treasures.
Such a boon was given to you by Mother Janaki.
You have the essence of Lord Rama.
May you always remain the servant of Lord Rama.
By your devotion, one attains Lord Rama.
And forgets the sorrows of countless births.
At the end of life, one goes to the abode of Lord Rama.
Where one is known as a devotee of Lord Hari.
One should not focus on other deities.
For Hanuman alone can bring all happiness.
He removes troubles and relieves all pain.
To those who remember the valiant Hanuman.
Hail, hail, hail Lord Hanuman.
Bless me as a guru.
Whoever recites this Hanuman Chalisa a hundred times.
Will be freed from captivity and experience great happiness.
Whoever reads this Hanuman Chalisa.
Will achieve success, as Goddess Gauri testifies.
Tulsidas is always a servant of Lord Hari.

Son of the wind, the dispeller of troubles,
The auspicious form.
Along with Lord Rama, Lakshmana, and Sita,
Reside in my heart, O king of the gods.
