Don't be fooled by my smile or my style
I know how to value the good souls from the bad
Some people have been loyal to me, while others have betrayed me
I have gained bad intentions with good intentions

Some people never repent from their deceit
Others are pure and their friendship is like fresh water
Some people have tricked me and others have filled my pockets
Others look at me as if they were blind

All this while the wounds keep increasing around me
The flattery and compliments and lies
Do not change the smile of my generous face
My right hand is always extended, it is not seasonal

I wish I could give my clothes to the needy
And give without expecting anything in return
I don't want to gather the world or have people hear about me
My soul is rich from the compliments of God's creation

In some things, I come forward and repent
For all of mankind and for their children
