Det her album er til dig, min dreng.
Lige nu er du en anelse for lille til at forstå
Hvad jeg vil med alt det her, men
Jeg tænkte at en skønne dag,
Så kunne du få glæde af de her sange.
Jeg har i hvert fald virkelig haft brug for at skrive dem.

Indtil da har jeg valgt også at dele sangene
Med dem som ellers interesserer sig for min musik.
For måske kunne de også bruge sangene til noget,
Det håber jeg er okay.

Før du bliver rigtig stor
Og mor og far bare bliver de her irriterende forældre,
Der siger, at du skal rydde op og børste tænder,
Så vil jeg bare gerne fortælle dig lidt om mig,
Om hvor vi egentlig kommer fra, os to.

Hvordan det hele var før vi mødte dig,
Og hvordan mor og far blev kærester,
For jeg skulle godt nok oppe mig for at få hende på krogen.
Men det fik jeg.

Og så blev vi til en lille familie, i år 2017.

This album is for you, my boy.
Right now you're a bit too young to understand
What I want with all this, but
I thought that one day,
You could enjoy these songs.
At least I really needed to write them.

Until then I have also chosen to share the songs
With those who are otherwise interested in my music.
Because maybe they could use the songs for something too,
I hope that's okay.

Before you get really big
And mom and dad just become those annoying parents,
Who tell you to clean up and brush your teeth,
I just want to tell you a little bit about me,
About where we actually come from, the two of us.

How it all was before we met you,
And how mom and dad became lovers,
Because I had to up my game to land her.
But I did.
