Til on that cross, as Jesus died, the wrath of God was satisfied.
For every sin on Him was laid, here at the death of Christ I live!
There in the ground, his body lay, light of the world by darkness slain.
Then bursting forth on glorious day, out of the grave he rose again!
And as he stands in victory, sins curse has lost it's grip on me!
For I am His, and He is mine, born of the precious blood of Christ!
No guilt in life, no fear in death.
This is the power of Christ in me.
From lifes first cry, to final breath, Jesus commands my destiny!
No power of hell, no scheme of man, can ever pluck me from His hand.
Til he returns or calls me home, here at the power of Christ I stand!

In Christus allein / Nichts als das Blut

In Christus allein ist meine Hoffnung gefunden.
Er ist mein Licht, meine Stärke, mein Lied.
Dieser Eckstein, dieser feste Grund, fest durch die schlimmste Dürre und den Sturm.
Welch Höhen der Liebe, welch Tiefen des Friedens.
Wenn Ängste gestillt sind, das Streben aufhört.
Mein Tröster, mein Alles in Allem, hier in der Liebe Christi steh ich.
In Christus allein, der Fleisch annahm, Fülle Gottes in einem hilflosen Kind.
Dieses Geschenk der Liebe und Gerechtigkeit, verachtet von denen, die Er kam zu retten.
Bis an jenem Kreuz, als Jesus starb, der Zorn Gottes gestillt war.
Denn jede Sünde wurde auf Ihn gelegt, hier im Tode Christi lebe ich!
Dort im Boden lag Sein Leib, Licht der Welt, von Finsternis erschlagen.
Dann hervorbrechend am herrlichen Tag, aus dem Grab erstand Er wieder!
Und wie Er im Sieg dasteht, hat der Fluch der Sünde seinen Griff auf mich verloren!
Denn ich bin Sein, und Er ist mein, geboren aus dem kostbaren Blut Christi!
Keine Schuld im Leben, keine Furcht im Tod.
Das ist die Kraft Christi in mir.
Vom ersten Schrei des Lebens bis zum letzten Atemzug, Jesus bestimmt mein Schicksal!
Keine Macht der Hölle, kein Plan des Menschen, kann mich je Seiner Hand entreißen.
Bis Er wiederkehrt oder mich heimruft, hier in der Kraft Christi steh ich!
Was kann meine Sünden wegwaschen?
Nichts als das Blut Jesu!
