බුදු හාමුදුරුවෝ අපිත් දකින්නැති
බණත් අහන්නැති ඒ කාලේ
නිවන් දකින්නට පින් මදි වෙන්නැති
ඒකයි තවමත් සංසාරේ

දෙවුරම් වෙහෙරට යන්න එන්න ඇති
බුදුන් දකින්නට ඒ කාලේ
නිවන් දකින්නට පින් මදි වෙන්නැති
ඒකයි තවමත් සංසාරේ

අපිත් එක්ක සිටි අපේම යාලුවෝ
නිවන් දකින්නැති ඒ කාලේ
මෙතේ බුදුන් දැක නිවන් දකින්නට
පින් පුරවමු අපි සංසාරේ

Lord Buddha

I don't see Lord Buddha
And I don't hear the ban (Buddhist teachings)
I don't have good merit to attain Nirvana
That's why I'm still in Samsara (the cycle of rebirth)

We will go to the great stupa
To see the Buddha
I don't have good merit to attain Nirvana

Our loved ones, who were with us
Have not attained Nirvana
While I can see the Buddha and attain Nirvana
Let's make merit in this Samsara
