Back in 2018
It's kind of funny, cause I thought I knew everything
Thought I'd blow up quick
Man what a journey
I was just making music
Didn't really invest in my craft
I remember rushing the process
And getting laughed at
They probably still laughing
But I'm in the one percent
Yeah I'm chasing my dreams
I was born different
Saying things is one thing
But doing them is another
How could you hate on someone who is doing what they love
You ain't god
Who gave you the right to judge

For the longest time, I was lost and confused
My therapy was, spending money on food and tattoos
Every morning my alarm would go off and i'd hit snooze
I'd say the same excuse, but i was just uninspired
Everyday I felt tired, and I always wondered why
But I know now, it was my routine
Yeah why have a dream, if you ain't going to chase it
I doubted myself in 2020
So i decided to take a break from it
Told myself one day, I'll come back and do it right
Royal ryan is what they'll remember
And my last name is knight
A knight is royalty
So then that's when it came to me
It sounded catchy and I don't really care if you don't understand me
I'm building an empire, for my family and my wife
I know one day, it'll all be my reality
Touring around the world, my fans and family celebrating with me
But for now I'm enjoying the journey
There really is no destination
I do have goals i'd like to reach by thirty
But i'm thankful for every fan that i have
Every producer and artist i work with
Thankful for everything
It's all a journey
Appreciate everything you got

Et on s'est moqué de moi
Ils rient probablement encore
Mais je suis dans le un pour cent

Et mon nom de famille est Knight
Un chevalier est de la royauté
Alors c'est là que ça m'est venu
Ça sonnait bien et je me fiche que tu ne me comprennes pas
Je construis un empire, pour ma famille et ma femme
Je sais qu'un jour, tout sera ma réalité
En tournée mondiale, mes fans et ma famille célébrant avec moi
Mais pour l'instant, je profite du voyage
Il n'y a vraiment pas de destination
J'ai des objectifs que j'aimerais atteindre avant trente ans
Mais je suis reconnaissant pour chaque fan que j'ai
Chaque producteur et artiste avec qui je travaille
Reconnaissant pour tout
Tout est un voyage
