ಆಕಾಶ ಜೇಬಲಿ
ನಿನ್ನ ನಗು ಹೀಗೇ ಇದ್ದರೆ
ಕೋಲ್ಮಿಂಚು ಹೂಮಳೆ

To the gooseberry fruit
To the banana stem
To the pomegranate fruit

Must I become water?
To flow over your body
Must I become glass?
To reflect your beauty and charm
Must I become ice?
To cool your anger
Must I become a chariot?

Grant me a boon without asking, oh Goddess
Grant me the heart of a woman without praise

If you are in my company
Heaven in my pocket

A shower of jasmine flowers

The ocean of nectar
