Had some catfish with the spicy season hella fire that was good eatin'
Took off headed to the mall Town East that hoe really small
Bought a fit from JC got a call from my auntie
She was real calm said she wanna see me
I guess it gotta be with good reason
Little did I know she had a great reason
Little did I know it was pain season
Little did I know that we lost doe
Little did I know he died on the floor
Never really thought I could lose hope
The price he had to pay it's all good though

Ouais mec, c'était il y a 6 ans, mec
En fait, laisse-moi te dire comment ça s'est vraiment passé, d'accord ?

Vendredi, tu te sentais bien, tu faisais ton fric, SUGg
Tu t'es réveillé un peu tard, tu es arrivé au salon vers 9h, 8h
Tu es arrivé, tu as pris une coupe, on parlait
Les tondeuses tournaient, le temps passait, tu as reçu un message, c'était vraiment méchant
Le salon était plein, tout le monde mangeait des fades de fou, personne ne tissait
J'ai pris du poisson-chat avec des épices épicées, du feu, c'était bon à manger
J'ai décollé, je suis allé au centre commercial, Town East, ce truc est vraiment petit
J'ai acheté un ensemble chez JC, j'ai reçu un appel de ma tante
Elle était vraiment calme, elle a dit qu'elle voulait me voir
Je suppose que ça doit être pour une bonne raison
Je ne savais pas qu'elle avait une bonne raison
Je ne savais pas que c'était la saison de la douleur
Je ne savais pas qu'on avait perdu doe
Je ne savais pas qu'il était mort sur le sol
Je n'ai jamais vraiment pensé que je pouvais perdre espoir
Le prix qu'il a dû payer, c'est bon quand même

Je suis revenu du centre commercial, des sentiments mitigés à propos de cet appel
Ma cousine Lisa est arrivée au salon avec un sourire bizarre
Toujours ignorant, je ne le savais pas alors, je l'ai accompagnée à la porte
On est dehors, ma grand-mère arrive, là, le cerveau d'un mec est un peu coincé
Elle a levé les yeux, puis elle a dit : "Je déteste te le dire, mais ton père est mort".
Mon père est mort ? Qu'est-ce que tu veux dire ? Je ne comprends pas son langage
6 ans plus tard, je comprends enfin, j'ai dû perdre mon ego pour devenir un homme
J'ai dû perdre la tête juste pour comprendre que le cousin n'est pas allé en enfer, il n'a pas besoin d'un fan
