Oh Goddess Laxmi, I worship you day and night, oh preserver of Vishnu, the creator.
Oh Laxmi, you are the consort of Lord Rama, the daughter of the earth. You are the mother of the world. The Sun, the Moon, the wise men and saints meditate on you.
Oh Goddess Laxmi, your form is Durga, the invincible. You grant happiness and wealth. Whoever meditates on you attains success and prosperity.
Oh Goddess Laxmi, you reside in the underworld. You are the bestower of auspiciousness. You illuminate the power of karma and save us from the ocean of worldly existence.
Oh Goddess Laxmi, in the house where you reside, all virtues reside. All possibilities become reality. The mind does not waver.
Oh Goddess Laxmi, without you, no yagna can be performed. No one gets clothes to wear. The wealth of food and drink, all comes from you.
