この手紙を 書いてます
秋祭に 買った指輪
小指に光ります
椅子の上には 赤い千代紙
窓のむこう 昼下りの小雨

表書きを 書きました
夢二の絵の少女真似て
矢絣を着ています
床にはらはら 芥子の花弁

Love Letter

With Aznavour playing in the background,
I pen this letter to you.
The ring I bought during the autumn festival,
Shines on my pinky finger.
Crimson red Japanese paper on the chair,
Afternoon drizzle outside the window.
In all I see, I'm reminded of you,
My dearest.

As I sip on hot cocoa,
I write the address on the envelope.
Imitating a maiden from a Yumeji painting,
I wear a yukata with arrowed patterns.
Mustard flower petals flutter on the floor,
The window glows with the post-rain sunset.
From morning till night, I long for you,
My beloved.

Once you've read my humble words,
Please burn them.
