My two eyes have witnessed your divinity, they have attained liberation,
She who is Maya, and the Lord of Maya, Manmatha, are but your forms.
The dark, rain-like eyes, the eyes that hold all love within,
Oh great Goddess, please hear my plea.

The beautiful face of Goddess Lakshmi, adorned with a gentle smile,
Resembles the full moon, radiating light and beauty.

You are Durga Devi, the foundation of the universe, my mother Parvati.
You are the fierce Kali, who wears the moon upon her head and dances with fire in her eyes,

The art of writing, destiny, and compassion, your divine grace guides me.
You have protected and nurtured me with love, oh merciful Goddess.

I long to see you, even for a moment,
The truth, the goodness, all reside within you, mother.
Oh beautiful one, you have shown me the way to overcome my ego,
May I be among your devotees, gathered at your feet.
I have surrendered to you, oh mother, with pure devotion and a surrendered heart,

I have seen the beloved jewel that resides within the heart of Lord Krishna,

As I sing her praises, my mother, the one who protects all,
The eyes of Lord Krishna's consort bloom with love, embracing the world,
Like a gem, she shines, illuminating the path to a meaningful life,
She is Lakshmi, the embodiment of fortune and auspiciousness, I seek refuge at her feet.
