Semah / Ascension / Oneness

Gabriel recited the Miraj,
Muhammad Mustafa, the luminous one,
Heeded the divine command,
And embarked on the journey,
Embarked on the journey.

A lamp ignited from the unseen,
For the distant became near,
Gabriel brought Buraq,
The beloved of God mounted,

Musa, Kazim, Reza the generous,
Shah Taki, Baqir, Askar,
Muhammad al-Mahdi, our refuge.

Grant us from your grace,
Do not withhold your mercy,
Deprive us not of your compassion,
This sinful beggar seeks your light.

God, Muhammad, and Ali are my friends,
